Catalina Estrada

Born in Colombia and living in Barcelona since 1999, Catalina’s art, graphic design and illustrations are very effervescent and  full of  color but  full of Latin American folklore details too.Her ability for creating wonderlands and enchanting characters  is somehow refined with a subtle touch of European sophistication.

Her work is so well known and wanted, that her patterns are used in fashion, design, advertising and many other area activities. Some of her clients include: Paul Smith, Coca-Cola, Microsoft Zune, Sony Music, Camper, Nike, Levis, Smart/Mercedes Benz, Lexus, Honda, Custo-Barcelona, Lindt, Unicef, Motorola, Chronicle Books, Barcelona’s City Council, among many others.

I bet Catalina Estrada’s favorite story was “Alice in Wonderland” and I’m actually glad about this cuz she got everything I need to satisfy my actual inexplicable positive vibes I feel these days.
